What You Need to Know:

  • Season runs from August to October
  • 5 co-ed divisions: 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u
  • 2 girls divisions: 9u, 12u
  • Meetings up to 3 times per week
  • Registration ($150 for Plantation residents) includes uniforms and trophies for our playoff winners

  • Draft in June
  • Practices starts August 2. Season kicks off August 22.

Q: When does the Flag Football season begin?

A: Season runs from August through October 2025. League plan is to host Player Skills Evaluations in May. Location and times to be announced. First game of the season will be on begin in August. Playoffs will follow and the Super Bowl will be early November.

Q: Is the Flag Football program for Boys and Girls?

A: Plantation Flag Football is a coed sport. Boys and girls participate on the same team. New for 2025, we have 2 all-girls divisions.

Q: How many practices/games are there during a week?

A: Teams typically practice 1-2 times a week depending on game schedule. Teams are allowed to meet a maximum of 3 times per week.

Q: What is the cost to join?

A: $150 for Plantation residents; $200 for non-residents (includes jersey, shorts, and trophy)

Q: What are the age divisions?

A: We organize our teams according to age. We have 5 divisions: 6U Clinic (5-6), 8U (7-8), 10U (9-10), 12U (11-12), and 14U (13-14).

Q: What age division will my child play in?

A: Age divisions are deterrmined based on your child's age as of August 31.

Q: Does my child need to attend the Player Skills Evaluation?

A: YES. Failure to attend jeopardizes your placement in the league.
