Celebrating 25 Years: The Beaconsfield Oldtimers Hockey Tournament
Welcome to our 25th-anniversary celebration! In 1998, a dedicated group of Beaconsfield Oldtimers Hockey Association (BOHA) members-Geoff Heseltine, Dana Smith, and Dollard Leblanc-founded the Beaconsfield Oldtimers Hockey Tournament. Their vision was simple yet powerful: to create a unique event that would raise vital funds for local charities and non-profit organizations.
From the very beginning, this tournament has been "More Than Just Hockey." It's a true reflection of BOHA's core values, which is to provide recreation and fellowship through organized hockey while actively promoting community spirit, and steadfastly supporting charitable causes. We're proud to champion both men's and women's hockey at our tournament, offering a space for fun competition where friendships are made on and off the ice.
Since our inaugural event in 1999, the tournament has consistently generated funds for West Island Community Service Groups. In fact, over the last 25 years, our BOHA donation committee has proudly donated nearly $80,000 back to the community.
