RULES FOR FUTSAL AT THE PITCH CINCY Overview: No slide tackling or board checking No corner kicks, no direct free kicks (only indirect) Penalties and goals restart at midfield Be Respectful (Zero Tolerance) Have Fun Structure 3v3. Goalie/Outfield players cannot use hands Clock will run for 12 minutes per half. No stoppage time. A max of 6 minutes of halftime. Possession for start decided with a coin flip Substitutions are unlimited and allowed at any time. Ties will be settled with 1v1, “Golden Goal”. Team with possession at the end of the game will start with the ball on their own crease. Goal Crease The crease is a half circle in front of the goal. No player may intentionally set down any part of their body in the crease before the ball enters the crease. Penalties Call your own penalties. Be respectful of other players. Zero tolerance includes racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc comments and purposeful physical violence. Ejection is possible for any player who breaks rules, or for any other unsportsmanlike conduct. Misc. No soft grass cleats or metal spike cleats allowed. Repeatedly kicking the ball out of the field of play will result in penalties or ejection from the game.
