2026 Ragle Adult Softball

1. All players must sign waiver/roster form before participating. Failure to do so will result in forfeit of all games involved.
2. Game time is forfeit time.
3. Forfeits count as 1½ losses.
4. Teams must have a minimum of 8 players to start or continue a game. At least 7 rostered players must be present to start. Up to 3 subs from other teams may be used to get to 10 players. At no time can a team use a sub(s) to have more players than the opposing team. Subs must bat at the bottom of the order and must play Catcher, Right Field, Right Center, 2nd Base, or 1st Base. If rostered players arrive late, they must replace any subs participating. If no subs are playing, late arrivals may be added to the bottom of the batting order.
5. Visiting team will occupy 1st base dugout, home team will occupy 3rd base dugout.
6. Only 2 players allowed Courtesy Runners per inning. Must be last out not on base. May go back one more player if needed. Players injured during the course of play are exempt.
7. No automatic outs except for ejections. If any rostered player is ejected, whether in the game or not, the team will take an out for that player in the lineup.
8. On the third ejection of the season, a player will be suspended from the league for the balance of the season. If two players from the same team are ejected during the same game, the team receiving ejections will be assessed a 15-0 forfeited loss. If the forfeiting team is losing by more than 15 runs, the game shall be called a forfeited loss with the score present.
9. Fighting will result in lifetime ban from league.
10. Players can be added to roster at any point. Players added after team’s 12th game are ineligible for the tournament.
11. Only rostered players may play in tournament, no borrowing. Must have played at least 7 games.
12. Bats must be solid wood, bats with composite barrel/handle/core not allowed (example: Corndog bat). Laminated bats are ok (example: Bamboo). Can be either Softball or Baseball style wood bats.
13. Force Play Slide Rule – Runner must slide or get out of the way (slide must be straight into base or away from defender).
14. Softballs to be .44 COR 400 Compression.
15. All defensive players must be in the batting lineup.
