St. Anthony VillageFest Pickleball Tourney 2021

  • St. Anthony VillageFest Pickleball Tourney is another fun pickleball event in conjunction with VillageFest in St. Anthony Village, MN. Food, beer, bands and all kinds of fun at this inaugural event! There will be 8 courts in play, and 2 courts exclusively for warm-ups.

    Saturday AM:
    --> Men's Doubles - 3.0 & Beginner
    FULL --> Men's Doubles - 3.5
    FULL --> Men's Doubles - 4.0
    --> Men's Doubles - Senior (60+)

    --> Women's Doubles - 3.0 & Beginner
    --> Women's Doubles - 3.5
    --> Women's Doubles - 4.0
    --> Women's Double - Senior (60+)

    Saturday Afternoon:
    FULL --> Mixed Doubles - 3.0 & Beginner
    FULL --> Mixed Doubles - 3.5
    --> Mixed Doubles - 4.0
    --> Mixed Doubles - Senior (60+)

    A minimum of 8 teams is required in a division for the division to be included in the tournament.

    $35 per team includes two drink tickets at the VillageFest Beer Garden, and covers court rentals and insurance costs. Each team is guaranteed 5 games, including 3 pool play games and 2 games in single elimination bracket play.

  • The tournament format will consist of a minimum of 3 pool play games (11 points, win by 1), followed by single elimination bracket play based on pool ranking. Ranking determined automatically by the website according to winning percentage > head to head > point difference. Bracket play will consist of the best 2 of 3 games (11 points, win by 2). All games are officiated by the individuals playing and must make their own calls. This is an unsanctioned tournament. Official tournament ball is the Franklin X40 outdoor ball. Balls will be provided and will be used for all games. Top finisher in each division receives an automatic entry into the MN State Fall Pickleball Tournament! In the event of rain, we will make every effort to resume play as soon as possible within the timeframe of our court reservation. Water Tower Park Tennis Courts do have lights in the case of an extended rain delay. We will communicate all updates and any decisions with you during a rain delay via email or text. In some cases, if we are not able to resume play safely the event may be canceled.
