    Message to parents' groups:
    • Children to assemble at 9:10am sharp.
    • Only players & coaches on the field, all parents / family to remain outside
    railings.
    • No rubbish to be left behind & there will be plenty of bins around the
    ground.
    • No dogs are allowed on site.
    Tournament rules:
    A. Squads size recommendation of minimum 9 & max 12 players.
    B. All children brought to tournament must play in tournament, (every child
    in squad should play in a portion of each game).
    C. Players cannot be moved from 1 squad to another squad for clubs
    entering more than 1 team in tournament.
    D. Games will be 7 a side.
    E. Tournament to be held on both astro pitches & will kick off at 9:30am SHARP.
    F. Pitch numbers have been allocated for each game so please ensure your
    team is ready to enter pitch as soon as the central whistle is sounded for
    the commencement of the next game.
    G. A central whistle will sound the start, half time (if applicable) & finish to all
    games, (with no exception).
    H. Games will be 14 minutes straight with no half time (unless there is a strong wind, & then a 1-minute half time will take place).
    I. Teams remain in warm up area of astro pitch between games to facilitate
    the smooth running of event.
    J. League stage to determine qualification to knock stage which will entail 24
    teams each playing 5 leagues games each (from other clubs only) to determine league standing.
    K. Goal tally will be counted & form part of league standings for qualification
    to the knockout stages.
    L. League standings will be determined by points, goal difference, goals
    scored, then goals conceded.
    M. If point ‘L’ above doesn’t sort out the league position, a penalty shoot-out
    will determine the team who finishes higher. Refer to match rules for
    penalty shoot-out rules.
    N. 3 knockout competitions will proceed after the league stage games have
    been completed.
    O. The teams that finish 1st to 4th in the league format will proceed to the
    Champions League semi-finals.
    P. Teams placed 5th to 8th in the league standings will proceed to the Europa
    League semi-finals.
    Q. The teams that finish 9th & 12th in the league format will proceed to the
    Conference league semi-finals.
    R. Teams placed 13th to 24th in the league standings will be eliminated for the
    knockout stages.
    Match rules are as follows:
    1. Retreat lines will be used for goal kicks only & not in open play if
    goalkeeper picks up the ball.
    2. Side Line Restarts will be thrown in , not dribbled or kicked in.
    3. A penalty should only be awarded for dangerous or deliberate foul play
    (deliberate handballs only).
    4. No pass backs allowed, (result would be an indirect free kick).
    5. Corners allowed.
    6. Direct free kicks allowed.
    7. After each goal, play will restart with a centre in the middle of the pitch.
    8. In the event of a draw in knockout stages then the game will go straight
    to penalties.
    9. 3 penalties per team unless it goes to sudden death.
    10.Every child in the squad must take a penalty before any child can take a
    second penalty during penalty shoot outs.
    11.Referee decision is final.
    12.No abusive language or aggressive behaviour will be tolerated throughout
    the day.
    13.Teams, managers, parents in breach of this rule may be asked to leave
    the grounds.
    14.Teams to ensure that all their management teams are fully aware of the
    rules before play starts for any games.
    15.If there are any disputes, then we’d respectfully request that they are
    handled in a calm manner away from any children from any teams.
