C.O.R.E.Group Sports Basketball Program provides athletic training, skill development, mentoring, tutoring, and several other key elements to support student athletes in Mississippi. Our 2021 participant ages include boys ages 7-17. Our elite athlete travel basketball team, the CORE MISSISSIPPI MAGIC, competes in the Amateur Athletic Union circuit in various cities and states in the United States, which gives athletes opportunities for exposure to college coaches, recruiters, etc. Although AAU competition can be expensive, our goal as a non-profit is to organize the community and resources in such a way as to support serious athletes who desire to pursue excellence in life through sports. One of our main goals for our athletes is to obtain athletic and academic scholarships through the program’s relationships with colleges in the region.
