Friday Night Futsal - Summer 23/24 Term 4 2023

  • Join us each Friday for social Futsal at Ōmokoroa No.1 School.
    All games will be refereed by local Futsal players and take place between 3:30pm and 6:00pm Friday at the Ōmokoroa No.1 School Dome.

    Squads of 7-9 players are recommended (allowing for a few substitutes). Registrations welcomed from all schools in the Tauranga region.

    Teams with players aged 8-10 - Matakana Division
    Teams with players aged 11-13 - Matahoa Division
  • Friday Night Futsal is a social league with mixed age participants – please ensure all players take the court with the attitude of care, fun and safe competition.

    Each game is 24 minutes long (two 12-minute halves). No timeouts are provided and subs are rolling. Each team is allowed a maximum of five players on the pitch at any time.

    Goalkeepers are only allowed to touch the ball in the goal D and can only return the ball to play out of their hands. Goalkeepers have a max of 4 seconds to release the ball.

    Where the ball has left play on the sideline of the court, the restart will be done with a kick-in. The ball must be stationary and returned to play within 4 seconds.

    There are no offsides.

    The game is played with a regulation Futsal ball.
