The NCHL (NORAD Canadian Hockey League) is a non-profit recreational hockey league established to promote health and fitness playing a sport loved by Canadians. Initially established as a small Canadian Military Only league it has grown over the years to its present size. Currently the league has 8 Teams composed of Cdn/US Military, Military retirees, military dependents and civilians. The season commences with a draft in August and the first games in the beginning of September. The season concludes in April with play-offs and the awarding of the NCHL Cup. All games are played at USAFA and officiated by professional referees.
