In the interest of complete games being played, there will be a 7 run limit per inning
Unlimited runs may be scored in “Last Inning”
The Umpire will call “Last Inning” at the top of the inning prior to the time limit
No new innings shall start with less than 10 minutes remaining in the game.
Warm up Pitches
5 in inning 1
3 in innings 2-7
Bats are supplied. No outside bats are allowed.
Respect the Umpire and your fellow players. No exceptions. The Umpire and organizers hold the right to eject/suspend a player for unsportsmanlike conduct, intoxication, etc.
Minimum 7 rostered players to start any game. A team can play with a minimum of 7 players and add player(s) to play the game.
Games must start on time. If teams are not ready to take the field at the Umpires request, the Umpire may declare the game a forfeit.
Each game begins with 1 new ball, 1 good condition ball.
Each batter starts with a 1 ball, 1 strike count. They are allowed 1 foul ball after reaching two strikes. A second foul ball is an out.
There is a 15 run rule after 4.5 innings. The game ens at that point.
One substitute runner per inning with the previous last out batter as the substitute runner. This may be altered if both managers agree.
No contact or collisions are allowed. The Umpire determines a player has interfered with a runner, the runner is safe, likewise if a runner interferes with the fielder, the ball is dead and an out is awarded.
All runners must run to the right side of 1st base.
All runners must run to the SAFETY LINE(secondary line located diagonally to the right of home plate) when attempting to score at Home. Once the runner crosses the COMMIT LINE (a line drawn 1/2 way between third base and home plate) it becomes a force play(the runner may not go back to third base and must make an attempt at Home). If the defense tags Home plate BEFORE the batter crosses the safety line, the runner is out. (This rule is set up to protect the safety of our players and to avoid unnecessary collisions at Home plate.)
Facemasks are encouraged for Pitchers. The middle is open unless the Umpire decides “intention by batter”.
Sliding is allowed
No stealing. Base runners may no lead and must wait until the ball has been hit before leaving the base.
Games can end in a tie if the time has expired at the completion of a full inning.
