RULES FOR FUTSAL AT THE PITCH CINCY Overview: NO SLIDING (No sliding to score goals, block goals, block kicks) STAY ON YOUR FEET ALWAYS NO CLEATS OR SPIKES. INDOOR SHOES OR TENNIS SHOES ONLY. NO EXCEPTIONS! NO ROUGH PLAY (ELBOWS AND ARMS AT YOUR SIDES, NO PUSHING IN CORNERS, NO KICKING OUT LEGS) Referee reserves the right to suspend a player for remainder of half or entire game if style of play is to aggressive/intense No corner kicks, no direct free kicks (only indirect) Goals restart at midfield with a back pass Be Respectful (Zero Tolerance) Have Fun! Structure 3v3. Goalie/Outfield players cannot use hands Clock will run for 12 minutes per half. No stoppage time. A max of 5 minutes of halftime. Possession for start decided with a coin flip Substitutions are unlimited and allowed in any dead ball situation Ties will be settled with 1v1, “Golden Goal”. Ball will be tossed into the middle and players start from their own goal line. Penalties/Fouls Call your own fouls. Referees will be watching and call any missed fouls. Be respectful of other players. Zero tolerance includes racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc comments and purposeful physical violence. Ejection is possible for any player who breaks rules, or for any other unsportsmanlike conduct.. Weather & Cancellations All games will be declared on or off by 12:00 PM on gameday based on weather reports. Cancellations or absences must be alerted to the league manager by 12:00 PM on your teams gameday! Failure to warn in advance will result in a $25 fine (one games fee) for the no-show team.
