The Old Town Alley League

Alleys make our community unique. Historically, these dusty, wild thoroughfares supported horses and refuse collection while providing random vehicles a place to rest. Now, they house a competition and conversation between neighbors - The Old Town Alley League (TOTAL).

Teams:
Team name - Alley (+) Alley Animal or Noxious Weed (ie. Wood Block Squirrels or Goat Heads)
Team Size – Four (4) players per team. The team can consist of any person living on the streets/blocks surrounding the alley. A different four players can play each week.

Competition:
The competition must take place in the alley. Each team (alley) selects one game from the list below on the night they host (HOME team). The AWAY team rides their bike to the HOME team. The HOME team provides a beverage to share. HOME team decides if that evening competition is singles, doubles, or the entire team competing against each other. Each evening’s competition will be Best 2 out of 3 rounds to determine the winning team.

All teams will be ranked by the number of wins and losses during the season to determine a playoff ranking along with score differential. Playoff format is highest ranked versus lowest (and so forth) in a single elimination tournament.

Trophy
Scarecrow Owl with Champion Nameplate for display in winning alley annually.
