--TOURNAMENT GAME PLAY RULES AND EVENT POLICIES--
Games are called under the National Federation of High School State Rules.
Each team is allowed two adult coaches bands in each tournament. Additional coaches and bookkeepers will have to pay regular admission. The tournament will provide a clock operator, bookkeeper, and game ball.
Home team will be listed first on Schedule.
Each team is responsible for their own warm-up balls. We are NOT responsible for lost items!
Games times are 14 minute Stopped Clock for 17u-14u and 12 minute Stopped Clock for 13u-11u.
Running clock will begin once a team is up by 20 or more points in the second half and will not stop unless the team cuts the deficit under 10 points.
All girls’ and boys’ grades 6th and below will play with the 28.5 intermediate basketball. Boys’ grades 7th and above will play with balls that are 29.5.
Boys foul out after 5th personal foul is committed; however, Girls will foul out after 6th personal foul is given. Technical fouls are also recorded as personal fouls.
A total of 2 Full time-outs will be awarded to each team per half. One additional time-out per team will be awarded for the first overtime period. Timeouts from the game will not carry over to overtime.
*First Overtime will consist of a 2-minute regulation period. Second overtime is Sudden death. First team to score 1 POINT. NO TIMEOUTS AWARDED!
Halftime will be 2 minutes. Pregame warm-ups will be 3 minutes. Time may be changed at the discretion of the site director only. Otherwise, all games will begin at the scheduled gametime.
Double Bonus will begin after 10th foul is committed in a half. No One plus One.
***No - Show/Late Forfeiture***
There is a 5-minute grace period after game time. Teams must have at least 4 players in full uniform. The tournament director however can override this rule. No officials can forfeit a game without the approval of the tournament director.
Players may only participate for one organization and can play for no more than three teams in a tournament. Each team must be in a different grade level. For all two-day tournaments a player can play in no more than 7 games total and for all three day tournaments a player can play in no more than 8 games total.
***Player Eligibility Challenge***
Coaches are required to have age and grade verification documents on site at the start of the event. Only head coaches are allowed to challenge the legitimacy or eligibility of an opposing player. The fee for an official challenge is $100 cash and will be refunded if challenge is upheld.
Teams that are found to have ineligible players will forfeit all games the players competed in. If game forfeited is in bracket play that team will be removed from the tournament. If it is determined your team(s) or club(s) is excessively playing ineligible players that team/club WILL BE ELIMINATED FROM THE EVENT WITHOUT REFUND!

Arm bands can't go on Purse, bags, or strollers.
No outside coolers.
