About Sandringham Soccer Club

The Sandringham Soccer Club, situated in the bayside area of Melbourne, has over 800 playing members. The club has comprehensive programs and teams catering for all; boys and girls, men and women, ages 5 to 65 years of age from beginners to talented players.

The Castlefield Champions Cup is an annual miniroos tournament first hosted in 2001 run by the club at the end of the winter season. After a break of 2 years courtesy of COVID it is now into its 20th rendition.

This year has 53 teams competing across 7 divisions. The age groups are U8 to U11 and there are separate competitions for boys and girls. Each team involved plays a series of round robin matches with semi finals followed by grand finals at their completion.
