Iron City Seven Kings Cup 2026

  • Welcome to the Iron City Seven Kings Cup! This weekend tournament is geared for college players. It's to create some summer fun for men's soccer. Games will begin on Friday evening and continue primarily on Saturday morning and evening. The final will be played either Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon. Trophy and medals for the champions. Medals for the finalists.

    The tournament will be played on different outdoor turf fields in Pittsburgh, so no major driving to a distant city if you're in Pittsburgh this summer. This is a small-sided tournament: 7 v. 7 (goalie and six field players per team). We hope that you have kept in shape, as 7 v. 7 is a fast, exciting game! Maximum roster of 10 players. Unlimited substitutions on the fly. No offsides.

    We anticipate four to six teams for this tournament. Games will consist of a 30-minute first half, 5-minute break, and 30-minute second half (so a 60-minute game). We guarantee two games per team. But the plan is for each team to play three games, where the two teams with the best standings after three games compete in the final.

    Being a college player is not a requirement, but the division for this tournament is U28 (birth year 1998 or higher). Registration is currently open. But hurry if you want to try your hand (or should we say, your foot) at becoming one of the seven kings!
