BVLA is a volleyball draft league played in the Exton, PA area.

Each season, the BVLA Board will pick captains and set the draft pool. Then the draft order is randomly determined and captains will then draft their teams. The draft will usually be held the Thursday after the Open Gym.

Players that have played in BVLA previously will take priority over new players, so openings may be limited. The Board has final say in all decisions. Players are able to join as a hitter or setter. There is no female touch rule (a woman does not have to touch the ball in order for a man to attack), so female hitters and male setters are welcome!

There are 2 seasons per year: Spring (January to May) and Fall (September to December).

The games are played Tuesday nights starting at 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Every season starts with an open gym that will take place one week before the league starts. This is a great opportunity for new players to show off their skills and returning players to shake off the rust.
