đ„ WSL SUMMER MENâS 2026 OUTLOOK
If 2025 proved anything, itâs this: the Wadham's Softball League doesnât do predictable.
Last summer gave us everythingâstatement wins, shocking upsets, and a postseason that felt more like chaos than a bracket. The kind of season where contenders got clipped early, underdogs found lightning, and no lead ever felt safe.
And sitting at the top when the dust settled?Â
Booty Bandits. Undisputed.
đ THE DEFENDING KINGS
The Booty Bandits didnât just winâthey controlled the season.
- Record: 24â6
- Runs Scored: 524 (flat-out video game numbers)
- Regular Season Champs
- Playoff Champions
They combined consistency with explosive offense, and once they got rolling, nobody could slow them down.
But hereâs the part nobody in that locker room wants to hear:
They werenât unbeatable.
The Misfits went 3â1 against them last season. Thatâs not a flukeâthatâs a warning shot.
So the real question heading into 2026 isnât âAre the Booty Bandits elite?â
We already know they are.
The question is:
đ Can they survive the target on their back?
đ„ THE HUNTERS
đŁ Misfits (19â10)
If thereâs a team built to take the crown, this is it.
Theyâve already proven they can beat the champs. Now itâs about consistency. If they tighten up across the board, this team could flip the entire league hierarchy.
âïž Xtreme Powerline Construction (formerly Satryb Motorsports) (22â7)
New name. Same problem for the rest of the league.
This team was right there last yearâone of the most complete rosters top to bottom. If the rebrand comes with even a slight edge, theyâre a legitimate title threat.
đ§ Team Garage (22â7)
They were rolling⊠until they werenât.
The upset loss to the Nature Boys still lingers. That kind of playoff collapse either breaks a teamâor fuels them. If itâs the latter, watch out.
đ Pony Express (19â11)
Quietly one of the most dangerous teams in the league.
They donât always dominate headlines, but they show up, they score, and they grind wins. If they find another gear, theyâre in the mix deep into the season.
â ïž THE WILD CARDS
đż Nature Boys (12â18)
Record says average.
Resume says chaos agents.
They shocked Team Garage and proved they can hang with anyone when locked in. The question is consistencyâbecause their ceiling is way higher than their record.
đș Brew Jays (10â20)
đ Cleats & Cleavage (8â22)
đš MoCushin4ThaPushin (7â22)
These teams didnât have the wins last yearâbut donât write them off.
Every season, one lower-tier team flips the script. If one of these squads finds rhythm early, they could wreck playoff seeding.
đ THE NEW BLOOD
Expansion teams always bring unpredictabilityâand this year, thereâs a lot of it.
- Doobies and Boobies
- Ball Busters
- Cutwater Trappers
Hereâs the truth: most new teams struggle early.
But occasionally? One comes in with chemistry, power, and nothing to loseâand suddenly theyâre ruining contendersâ seasons.
If even ONE of these teams hits early momentum, they could shake the entire standings.
đ 2025 FINAL STANDINGS (FOR CONTEXT)
- Booty Bandits (24â6)
- Satryb Motorsports (22â7)
- Team Garage (22â7)
- Michigan Kraken (21â10)
- Misfits (19â10)
- Pony Express (19â11)
- Nature Boys (12â18)
- Mighty Sticks (10â20)
- Brew Jays (10â20)
- Cleats & Cleavage (8â22)
- MoCushin4ThaPushin (7â22)
- SBR (4â25)
đ§ REAL TALK: 2026 OUTLOOK
Letâs cut through it:
- The Booty Bandits are still the team to beatâbut repeating is harder than winning the first one.
- The Misfits are the biggest threatâtheyâve already cracked the code.
- Xtreme Powerline Construction and Team Garage are right thereâno excuses this year.
- The middle of the league? Wide open.
- The bottom? Dangerous if ignored.
đź EARLY PREDICTIONS
- Best Offense: Booty Bandits (until proven otherwise)
- Breakout Team: Nature Boys
- Biggest Threat to Champs: Misfits
- Dark Horse: Pony Express
- Newcomer to Watch: Ball Busters
đŹ FINAL WORD
If you think 2026 is going to follow a scriptâyou havenât been paying attention.
This league doesnât care about expectations.
It doesnât respect last yearâs standings.
And it definitely doesnât hand out repeat titles.
The champs are loaded.
The challengers are hungry.
And the chaos? Itâs coming back.
Buckle up. Week 1 is about to set the tone.
đ„ WSL WEEK 1 PREVIEW & PREDICTIONS
đ„ Brew Jays vs Ball Busters (Game 1 & 2)
This is the perfect tone-setter.
The Brew Jays were a 10â20 team last year, but donât let that fool youâtheyâve got bats that can get hot quick. Problem is, theyâve been wildly inconsistent.
Now they draw Ball Busters, a brand-new team with nothing to lose.
đ Hereâs the reality: new teams either come out swinging⊠or get punched in the mouth.
Prediction: Split
- Game 1: Ball Busters steal one (nobody has a scouting report yet)
- Game 2: Brew Jays adjust and respond
âž»
đż Nature Boys vs Cutwater Trappers (Game 1 & 2)
The Nature Boys are the definition of unpredictable. They beat contenders⊠then disappear the next week.
Cutwater Trappers are a total wildcard. No history, no tendenciesâjust raw unknown.
đ This matchup comes down to one thing:
Do the Nature Boys show up locked inâor not?
Prediction: Nature Boys Sweep
If theyâre even 80% focused, theyâre the better team right now.
âž»
đ Pony Express vs Team Garage (Game 1 & 2)
This is your headline matchup of the week.
Pony Express brings consistency.
Team Garage brings top-tier talent and unfinished business after that playoff embarrassment.
đ Letâs be realâTeam Garage should win this matchup.
But Pony Express doesnât beat themselves. That matters in Week 1.
Prediction: Split
- Game 1: Team Garage comes out hot
- Game 2: Pony Express grinds one out
âž»
⥠Xtreme Powerline Construction vs Doobies and Boobies (Game 1 & 2)
This one could get ugly.
Xtreme Powerline Construction (formerly Satryb Motorsports) was 22â7 last year. Thatâs not a flukeâthatâs dominance.
Doobies and Boobies are stepping into the league against one of the most complete teams right out of the gate.
đ Bad matchup. Bad timing.
Prediction: Xtreme Powerline Sweep
And it might not be close. Welcome to the league.

đ§ FINAL TAKE
Week 1 is where narratives start formingâand overreactions begin.
A hot start? Suddenly youâre a contender.
A slow start? Now youâre chasing the standings all summer.
But donât get it twistedâŠ
The teams that show identity early are the ones still standing in Week 24.
Letâs see who shows up.
đ„ WSL 2026 â WEEK 1 RECAP & WEEK 2 OUTLOOK
By League Insider
One week into the 2026 WSL Menâs season, and the league already feels completely unhingedâin the best way possible.
We had blowouts. We had statement wins. We had newcomers announcing themselves immediately. And we already have contenders feeling pressure heading into Week 2.
The craziest part?
The defending champs havenât even played yet.
Letâs break it all down.
đ„ WEEK 1 RECAP
đș Brew Jays make a statement early
Brew Jays def. Ball Busters 17â1
Brew Jays def. Ball Busters 14â2
Forget easing into the season.
The Brew Jays came out swinging like a team that was tired of hearing about last yearâs 10â20 finish. They absolutely dismantled Ball Busters in both games, outscoring them 31â3 across the doubleheader.
That wasnât just winning.
That was domination.
The offense looked explosive, the defense stayed clean, and Ball Busters never looked comfortable offensively.
Week 1 Verdict:
- Brew Jays may have been underrated entering the season.
- Ball Busters got a harsh welcome-to-the-league moment.
đż Nature Boys and Cutwater Trappers split a wild series
Nature Boys def. Cutwater Trappers 17â14
Cutwater Trappers def. Nature Boys 28â23
If you like pitching and defense⊠this series was not for you.
These teams combined for 82 total runs in two games, and honestly, every inning felt like chaos. The Nature Boys survived the opener behind timely hitting, but the Trappers answered immediately with a massive 28-run explosion in Game 2.
And hereâs the scary part for the league:
đ Cutwater Trappers can HIT.
Expansion team or not, putting up 28 in your second-ever game gets attention fast.
Week 1 Verdict:
- Nature Boys are still wildly unpredictable.
- Cutwater Trappers may be much more dangerous than expected.
đ§ Team Garage sends a message
Team Garage def. Pony Express 23â19
Team Garage def. Pony Express 30â7
This looked personal.
After last yearâs playoff loss to Pony Express, Team Garage came into Week 1 looking angry, focused, and dangerous. The first game was competitive for a while before Garage pulled away. The second game? Absolute destruction.
A 30â7 beatdown against a respected Pony Express squad is the kind of score that makes the entire league notice.
Week 1 Verdict:
- Team Garage looks like a legitimate title contender.
- Pony Express already feels under pressure heading into Week 2.
⥠Split chaos between Xtreme Powerline and Doobies & Boobies
Doobies & Boobies def. Xtreme Powerline 12â4
Xtreme Powerline def. Doobies & Boobies 16â2
Now THIS was the shocker of the week.
Xtreme Powerline Constructionâone of last yearâs elite teamsâgot punched in the mouth in Game 1 by expansion squad Doobies & Boobies.
Nobody saw that coming.
To Xtremeâs credit, they responded exactly how contenders should respond: with dominance in Game 2. But the damage was already done.
Week 1 Verdict:
- Biggest upset of the opening week.
- Doobies & Boobies instantly became must-watch chaos merchants.
đ EARLY WEEK 1 POWER RANKINGS
- Team Garage
- Brew Jays
- Xtreme Powerline Construction
- Nature Boys
- Cutwater Trappers
- Doobies & Boobies
- Pony Express
- Ball Busters
(Booty Bandits, Misfits, Cleats & Cleavage, and MoCushin4ThaPushin debut in Week 2)
đ WEEK 2 OUTLOOK đ„
And now⊠the heavyweights enter the season.
This is where things get real.
đ SERIES OF THE WEEK
Booty Bandits vs Misfits
You could not script a bigger Week 2 showdown.
The defending champs.
The team that went 3â1 against them last season.
Potentially the two best teams in the entire league.
This matchup could preview the championship before May is even over.
What to Watch:
- Can Booty Bandits still overwhelm teams offensively?
- Can Misfits continue being the one team that seems unfazed by the champs?
Prediction:
Split.
Neither team is going quietly here.
đ Pony Express vs Ball Busters
Both teams desperately need a response.
Pony Express got embarrassed in Game 2 against Team Garage, while Ball Busters looked completely overwhelmed offensively.
The loser of this series could already be staring at an early hole in the standings.
Prediction:
Pony Express sweep.
Theyâre too experienced to spiral this early.
đ Cleats & Cleavage vs MoCushin4ThaPushin
This feels like one of those sneaky important early-season matchups.
Neither team had a great 2025 season, meaning both see this as a chance to establish momentum immediately.
Prediction:
Split.
This feels like a gritty, high-scoring doubleheader.
đŻ BIGGEST WEEK 2 STORYLINES
đ How good are the Misfits REALLY?
This is the measuring stick series.
Beat the champs again, and suddenly the league conversation changes completely.
đŁ Which expansion team is legit?
Cutwater Trappers and Doobies & Boobies both showed flashes.
Now the question is whether they can sustain it.
đ§ FINAL TAKE
One week in, and the WSL already feels deeper and more chaotic than last season.
The established powers still look dangerous.
But the newcomers? Theyâre not rolling over.
And now the champs finally step onto the field.
Week 2 feels massive already.
đ„ WSL 2026 â WEEK 2 RECAP
By League Insider
Two weeks into the WSL Menâs Summer season, and one thing is already obvious:
This league has entered its offensive insanity era.
Records are falling. Contenders are separating. Pretenders are getting exposed. And somehow, the defending champions may have gotten even scarier.
Ohâand Pony Express just put their name in league history.
Letâs get into it.
đ BOOTY BANDITS REMIND EVERYONE WHO RUNS THE LEAGUE
Booty Bandits def. Misfits 23â5
Booty Bandits def. Misfits 17â11
The most anticipated matchup of the young season turned into a statement.
Not a close statement either.
The defending champs walked into Week 2 against the one team that went 3â1 against them last year⊠and absolutely handled business.
Game 1 was a demolition.
Game 2 was more competitive, but every time the Misfits looked ready to swing momentum, the Bandits answered immediately.
Thatâs what champions do.
And hereâs the scary part for the rest of the league:
đ The offense somehow looks BETTER than last season.
Through two games:
- 40 runs scored
- 20 runs per game
- 2â0 record
- Immediate reminder theyâre still the kings
Meanwhile, the Misfits are suddenly staring at an 0â2 start after entering the season with championship expectations.
Thatâs not panic territory yet.
But itâs close.
đ PONY EXPRESS SETS A LEAGUE RECORD
Pony Express def. Ball Busters 35â13
Pony Express def. Ball Busters 21â1
History was made Wednesday night.
Pony Express exploded for 35 runs, officially setting the WSL Menâs Summer League record for most runs scored in a single game.
Not 25.
Not 30.
THIRTY-FIVE.
And honestly? It couldâve been more.
From the first inning on, it was batting practice. Line drives everywhere. Gaps getting abused. Rally after rally after rally.
Pony Express now owns:
- #1 highest scoring game in WSL history (35)
- #3 highest scoring game (31)
- tied for #5 (28)
This franchise apparently treats scoreboards like personal challenges.
The rough news? Ball Busters are now 0â4 and have allowed 87 runs, by far the most in the league.
Welcome-to-the-league moments donât get much harsher than this.
đš MOCUSHIN4THAPUSHIN STUNS CLEATS & CLEAVAGE
MoCushin4ThaPushin def. Cleats & Cleavage 9â8
MoCushin4ThaPushin def. Cleats & Cleavage 15â3
This was arguably the sneakiest important series of the week.
Why? Because somebody needed confidence badly.
And MoCushin got it.
Game 1 was tight, physical, and tense the whole way through before MoCushin escaped with a one-run win. Then in Game 2, they completely flipped the switch and dominated.
After being projected near the bottom entering the year, MoCushin suddenly sits undefeated at 2â0.
Meanwhile Cleats & Cleavage already feels like a team fighting uphill.
đ UPDATED POWER STRUCTURE OF THE LEAGUE
Tier 1 â The Heavyweights
- Booty Bandits
- Team Garage
These are the two teams that look the sharpest right now. Explosive offenses. Huge run differentials. Championship-level confidence.
Tier 2 â Dangerous But Flawed
- Brew Jays
- Pony Express
- Xtreme Powerline Construction
- Nature Boys
- Cutwater Trappers
All capable of beating anybody.
All capable of giving up 25 runs randomly.
Peak WSL chaos.
Tier 3 â Trying to Find Identity
- Doobies & Boobies
- MoCushin4ThaPushin
Both teams already exceeded expectations in different ways.
Doobies shocked Xtreme once.
MoCushin quietly went undefeated this week.
Tier 4 â Early Trouble
- Misfits
- Cleats & Cleavage
- Ball Busters
This isnât where anyone expected the Misfits to be.
An 0â2 start alone isnât devastatingâbut getting outscored 40â16 absolutely raises questions.
Ball Busters, meanwhile, are learning very quickly that WSL pitching and offenses are a completely different level.
đ UPDATED STOCK REPORT
đ STOCK UP â Pony Express
You donât score 56 runs in a doubleheader by accident.
Yes, it came against Ball Busters.
Doesnât matter.
That offense is terrifying when rolling.
đ STOCK UP â MoCushin4ThaPushin
Most surprising undefeated team in the league right now.
Nobody saw this start coming.
đ STOCK DOWN â Misfits
The expectations were title-or-bust energy entering the year.
Now theyâre already chasing the standings.
đ STOCK DOWN â Ball Busters
0â4 with a -70 run differential is brutal.
The effort may still be thereâbut the adjustment period is real.
đ§ EARLY MVP WATCH
đ„ Booty Bandits Offense
Still absurd.
đ„ Team Garage Lineup
53 runs in two games is insane production.
đ„ Pony Express Hitters
League-record 35-run game speaks for itself.
đŹ FINAL TAKE
Two weeks in, and the league already feels like itâs separating into contenders and survival mode.
The champs still look dominant.
Team Garage looks hungry.
Pony Express just rewrote the record books.
And the middle of the standings is complete madness.
But the biggest storyline?
The pressure is already building.
Because in a 22-game season, bad starts become dangerous fast.
đ„ WSL MENâS SUMMER 2026 â WEEK 3 PREVIEW
By League Insider
Mother Nature may have won Monday night, b
Washing out the original Week 3 slate and pushing it later into the season, meaning tonight now becomes the official Week 3 openerâand honestly, this might be the most important slate yet.
Why?
Because now the pressure is real.
The standings are starting to take shape. Undefeated teams are trying to prove they belong. Struggling teams are trying to stop the bleeding. And somewhere out there, Pony Express is probably trying to score 40 runs just because they can.
Letâs break it all down.
âž»
đ„ GAME OF THE WEEK
đ Pony Express vs đș Brew Jays
This one has fireworks written all over it.
Pony Express enters Week 3 fresh off setting the all-time WSL single-game scoring record with 35 runs, while Brew Jays are quietly sitting undefeated at 2â0 with the leagueâs best run differential (+28).
Somebodyâs hot streak is ending.
Key Storyline:
This matchup is more than just offenseâitâs two programs heading in completely different emotional directions.
For the Brew Jays, this start feels earned. Nate McClain has slowly built this roster up over time, and for the first time in a while, the Brew Jays genuinely look like they have a reliable core that believes in itself. The confidence is growing, and this series is their first opportunity to prove they belong with the leagueâs heavyweights.
Meanwhile, Pony and his boys are done being viewed as just an entertaining offense. After rewriting the WSL record book with 35 runs last week, this team looks like a legitimate championship contender. Their lineup attacks nonstop, and when they get rolling, innings start feeling like avalanches.
And if this turns into a shootout?
Advantage: Pony Express.
Because nobody in league history treats scoreboards more disrespectfully.
Prediction:
Split
- Game 1: Pony Express wins a slugfest
- Game 2: Brew Jays settle down and answer back
âž»
đ Booty Bandits vs đšÂ MoCushin4ThaPushin
Well⊠here we go.
MoCushin has become the early Cinderella story of the season at 2â0. Theyâve played loose, confident softball and shocked a lot of people already.
Now comes the hardest test in the league:
The defending champs.
And unfortunately for MoCushin, the Booty Bandits currently look like a team playing with cheat codes.
Key Storyline:
Thereâs a little extra emotion in this matchup.
The defending champion Booty Bandits, led by Brandon Doan, already look locked in offensively after dismantling the Misfits in Week 2. Their lineup depth is ridiculous, and theyâre playing with the confidence of a team that knows exactly how good it is.
But on the other side is MoCushin4ThaPushin, coached by Jeff McCrory, one of the best early stories in the league so far. After entering the season with little hype, MoCushin has responded with toughness, energy, and two huge opening wins.
And quietly, thereâs a personal subplot here too.
Itâs not a rivalry storyline yetâbut thereâs definitely familiarity, pride, and probably a little extra motivation on both sides.
Prediction:
Booty Bandits sweep
MoCushin competes harder than expected, but the champs are rolling right now.
âž»
đŁÂ Ball Busters vs đ Doobies & Boobies
This is a huge matchup for both teams.
Ball Busters are sitting at 0â4 and have already endured some brutal losses, including allowing 35 runs to Pony Express.
Meanwhile Doobies & Boobies already own one of the biggest upsets of the year after taking down Xtreme Powerline in Week 1.
Translation?
This is the âsomebody finally gets momentumâ series.
Key Storyline:
Thereâs pressure building already for Ball Busters and Coach Adler Obermesik. The offense has struggled, the pitching has been under constant pressure, and defensively the games have snowballed quickly. At some point, they just need one clean, competitive game to steady things.
Doobies & Boobies, coached by Zach Coverdill, have been the opposite emotionally. Theyâre loose, aggressive, and clearly not intimidated by the established teams. Their upset over Xtreme Powerline proved they can compete when the energy gets rolling.
This series feels less about standings and more about identity.
Who are these teams actually becoming?
Prediction:
Doobies & Boobies sweep
Ball Busters just havenât shown enough consistency defensively yet.
âž»
đżÂ Nature Boys vs âĄÂ Xtreme Powerline Construction
This series feels sneaky dangerous.
Nature Boys remain one of the hardest teams in the league to figure out. One game they look like contenders. The next game they give up 28 runs.
Xtreme Powerline is steadierâbut they already learned in Week 1 that overlooking teams can get you embarrassed fast.
Key Storyline:
The Nature Boys have always embraced chaos, and under the leadership of the Johnsons and Co., they continue to be one of the most emotionally unpredictable teams in the WSL. They can upset anybody when their offense catches rhythmâbut they can also get dragged into shootouts they canât survive.
Xtreme Powerline Construction, coached by Bobby Lane, feels more controlled. Even after the shocking Week 1 upset loss to Doobies & Boobies, they responded exactly how veteran teams should respond: with composure and dominance in Game 2.
This matchup comes down to style:
- Nature Boys want momentum and emotion.
- Xtreme wants structure and execution.
Usually, structure wins over the course of a doubleheader.
Prediction:
Xtreme Powerline sweep
Close games, though. Nature Boys never make things comfortable.
âž»
đ UPDATED WEEK 3 POWER RANKINGS

âž»
10. Misfits
Rainout probably helped them mentally more than anybody.
âž»
11. Cleats & Cleavage
Need offense. Badly.
âž»
12. Ball Busters
At this point, the scoreboard operators know their names personally.
âž»
đŻÂ BIGGEST THINGS TO WATCH THURSDAY NIGHT
đ„ Can Pony Express stay nuclear?
After scoring 56 runs last week, every defense in the league is officially nervous.
âž»
đ Is Brew Jays for real?
Undefeated is nice. Doing it against Pony Express would change everything.
âž»
đ Are the Booty Bandits already separating from the field?
Because right now, they look even MORE dangerous than last yearâs championship squad.
âž»
đŹÂ FINAL TAKE
The rain delay only made Week 3 feel bigger.
Now every game carries a little more pressure.
The standings matter a little more.
And teams are starting to realize this season moves FAST.
One bad stretch in a 22-game season can bury you.
And one hot streak?
Can turn you into a contender overnight.
 đ„ WSL MENâS SUMMER 2026 â WEEK 3 RECAP
By League Insider
Three weeks into the WSL season, and the league is already turning into exactly what everyone hoped for:
Pure chaos.
Weâve got undefeated champions steamrolling teams, expansion squads shocking the league, offensive explosions every night, and enough runs scored to make pitchers consider early retirement.
And after Week 3?
Thereâs one clear reality:
The Booty Bandits are still the kings.
But the chase behind them just got VERY interesting.
âž»
đ BOOTY BANDITS STAY PERFECT
Booty Bandits def. MoCushin4ThaPushin 17â9
Booty Bandits def. MoCushin4ThaPushin 23â3
MoCushin4ThaPushin entered Week 3 as one of the feel-good stories of the season at 2â0.
Then they ran into the defending champs.
Coach Brandon Doanâs Booty Bandits looked every bit like the undisputed title holders Wednesday night, overwhelming MoCushin with relentless offense, lineup depth, and the ability to completely bury teams once momentum shifts.
Game 1 was competitive early. MoCushin, coached by Jeff McCrory, fought hard and kept pressure on the Bandits through several innings. But eventually the champs did what elite teams doâthey turned one good inning into four.
Then came Game 2.
And honestly? That one got ugly fast.
The Bandits exploded for 23 runs in 3 innings and completely shut the door on any upset hopes. Through four games, theyâve now scored 80 total runs while staying undefeated at 4â0.
Week 3 Verdict:
The champs arenât just winningâtheyâre separating themselves from the league.
âž»
đ PONY EXPRESS PROVES THEYâRE FOR REAL
Pony Express def. Brew Jays 9â8
Pony Express def. Brew Jays 14â2
Pony Express is officially out of the âfun offenseâ category.
This is a legitimate contender.
After setting the WSL single-game scoring record last week, Coach Pony and his squad followed it up with a massive sweep over the previously undefeated Brew Jays.
Game 1 was one of the best games of the young season. Brew Jays battled the entire way and nearly stole it late before Pony Express escaped with a one-run win.
Game 2? Completely different story.
Pony Express jumped on Brew Jays early and never let them breathe, cruising to a 14â2 victory that immediately elevated them into the top tier of the standings.
To Brew Jaysâ credit, this still feels like a growing team with real upside. Coach Nate McLain has spent years slowly building this roster, and for the first time the Brew Jays genuinely look like they have a stable, competitive core.
But Wednesday also showed the gap between âgood storyâ and âchampionship-level offense.â
Pony Express is dangerous. Period.
And at this point, scorekeepers across the WSL are probably checking if their calculators have enough battery life before these games start.
Week 3 Verdict:
Pony Express looks like a real title threat.
âž»
đ DOOBIES & BOOBIES KEEP TURNING HEADS
Doobies & Boobies def. Ball Busters 19â4
Doobies & Boobies def. Ball Busters 22â10
Every week, Doobies & Boobies keep proving they belong.
Coach Zach Coverdillâs expansion squad improved to 3â1 after another dominant offensive performance, this time dismantling Ball Busters in both games.
And the scary thing?
They donât play like a nervous expansion team at all.
Theyâre aggressive offensively, loose emotionally, and clearly having fun while putting pressure on opponents.
Meanwhile, Ball Busters and Coach Adler Obermesik are still searching for answers.
The effort is there. The competitiveness flashes at times. But defensively, things keep snowballing fast once games get away from them.
Through six games:
- 0â6 record
- 128 runs allowed
- -97 run differential
Thatâs brutal territory early in a 22-game season.
Still, expansion years can get ugly before they get better. Right now the priority for Ball Busters has to be finding stability inning-to-inning.
Week 3 Verdict:
Doobies & Boobies are no longer a surpriseâtheyâre legitimately competitive.
âž»
âĄÂ XTREME POWERLINE AND NATURE BOYS TRADE HAYMAKERS
Nature Boys def. Xtreme Powerline Construction 13â8
Xtreme Powerline Construction def. Nature Boys 22â7
This series perfectly summed up both teams.
Game 1 belonged to the Nature Boys and the Johnsons, whose squad once again proved they can beat quality teams when the offense gets rolling. They controlled tempo early and handed Xtreme Powerline a frustrating loss.
Then Xtreme responded with absolute violence in Game 2.
Coach Bobby Laneâs squad exploded for 22 runs and completely flipped the energy of the series, salvaging a split and reminding everybody why they remain one of the leagueâs toughest outs.
The biggest issue for Nature Boys continues to be consistency. Their ceiling is high enough to beat almost anybodyâbut their lows can arrive just as quickly.
Week 3 Verdict:
Both teams remain dangerous⊠and wildly unpredictable.
âž»
đ UPDATED POWER RANKINGS AFTER WEEK 3
1. Booty Bandits (4â0)
Still undefeated. Still terrifying.
âž»
2. Pony Express (4â2)
The offense is becoming absurdly consistent.
âž»
3. Team Garage (2â0)

đŻÂ BIGGEST STORYLINES LEAVING WEEK 3
đ Can anybody catch the Booty Bandits?
Right now they look even stronger than last yearâs championship team.
That should scare the entire league.
âž»
đ Is Pony Express the biggest threat to the champs?
The offense says yes.
âž»
đ Are Doobies & Boobies the real deal?
At 3â1, itâs time to stop calling them a cute expansion story.

đŹÂ What happens if Misfits start slow again?

But pressure is building fast.

đŹÂ FINAL TAKE
Three weeks in, and the WSL season already feels like a sprint.
The contenders are beginning to separate.
The offensive numbers are getting ridiculous.
And every week seems to produce another insane box score.
At this pace, somebody might score 40 by June.
And honestly?
Pony Express is probably already trying.
đ„ WSL MENâS SUMMER 2026 â WEEK 4 PREVIEW
By League Insider
Three weeks into the season, the WSL is already splitting into tiers.
At the top?
The defending champs still havenât blinked.
Right behind them?
A growing pack of dangerous offenses trying to prove they can actually challenge for the crown.
And then thereâs the middle of the standings, where every single doubleheader suddenly feels massive because one sweep can completely flip a season.
Week 4 has pressure everywhere:
- Pony Express trying to keep the hottest bats alive
- Team Garage finally returning after the rainout shuffle
- Misfits desperately searching for life
- Doobies & Boobies trying to prove theyâre more than just a hot start
And somewhere in the distance, the Booty Bandits are probably watching comfortably like a final boss waiting for challengers.
Letâs get into it.
đ„ SERIES OF THE WEEK
đ Pony Express vs đż Nature Boys
This matchup feels like absolute chaos waiting to happen.
Pony Express enters Week 4 with the leagueâs most explosive offense, already scoring 105 runs in just six games. Coach Ponyâs squad has officially evolved from âdangerous lineupâ into âfull-blown contender.â
Meanwhile, the Nature Boys remain the WSLâs human mood swing.
One game they upset Xtreme Powerline.
The next game they lose by 15.
Trying to predict them is basically advanced gambling science at this point.
Key Storyline:
Can Nature Boys survive the offensive avalanche?
The Johnsons know their team has enough firepower to compete, but against Pony Express, mistakes snowball FAST. No lead feels safe, and no inning feels over.
The bigger storyline, though, is this:
Pony Express is beginning to look like the biggest threat to the Booty Bandits.
Thatâs no longer exaggeration.
Prediction:
Pony Express sweep
One game stays competitive.
The other turns into another offensive showcase.
And honestly, if Pony scores 20+ again, nobody should even act surprised anymore.
đš PRESSURE SERIES
đŹ Misfits vs đ Cleats & Cleavage
This is officially a desperation matchup.
Combined record entering Week 4:
- Misfits: 0â2
- Cleats & Cleavage: 0â2
The difference?
Misfits still feel dangerous despite the record.
Cleats & Cleavage still feel unfinished offensively.
Key Storyline:
How worried should Misfits actually be?
Coming into the season, they were viewed as one of the few teams capable of seriously challenging the champs. But after getting steamrolled by Booty Bandits in Week 2, the confidence level around this group suddenly feels shaky.
The rainout may have helped them mentally, but eventually they need wins.
Now.
The good news?
This matchup gives them the perfect opportunity to stabilize.
Prediction:
Misfits sweep
Not dominant, but controlled.
This feels like the week the Misfits finally exhale a little.
âïž TEAM GARAGE RETURNS
đ Team Garage vs đȘ€ Cutwater Trappers
Finally, Team Garage is back.
After sitting idle due to the rainout reshuffling, one of the leagueâs most dangerous teams returns carrying ridiculous offensive numbers:
- 53 runs in two games
- 26.5 runs per game
Which is honestly absurd.
But this wonât be easy.
Cutwater Trappers already showed they can score with anybody after hanging 28 runs earlier this season.
Key Storyline:
Can Cutwater survive Team Garageâs pressure innings?
Because Garage doesnât just score runsâthey bury teams in waves. One crooked inning against them can completely destroy a game.
At the same time, Cutwaterâs offense is dangerous enough to force a split if they get hot early.
Prediction:
Team Garage sweep
But both games should be entertaining.
There may be approximately zero defense played in this series.
đș Brew Jays vs đ Doobies & Boobies
Sneaky good matchup here.
Brew Jays are trying to bounce back after running into the Pony Express buzzsaw, while Doobies & Boobies continue becoming one of the best stories in the league.
At 3â1, Coach Zach Coverdillâs expansion squad has already exceeded expectations.
But now comes an interesting challenge:
Can they handle a team that actually plays disciplined softball?
Key Storyline:
This matchup feels like âculture vs chaos.â
Coach Nate McLain has spent years slowly building Brew Jays into a more stable, competitive team. Even after getting swept by Pony Express, they still look organized and capable.
Doobies & Boobies, meanwhile, thrive on momentum and emotion. They play loose, aggressive, and fearless.
That combination has already knocked off good teams.
Prediction:
Split
This feels dead even.
One game turns into a slugfest.
The other becomes weirdly tense for a Wednesday night softball game.
đ UPDATED POWER RANKINGS ENTERING WEEK 4
1. Booty Bandits (4â0)
Still undefeated. Still terrifying. Still the team everybody is chasing.
2. Pony Express (4â2)
The offense is becoming historically dangerous.
3. Team Garage (2â0)
Low-key still one of the scariest teams in the league.
4. Doobies & Boobies (3â1)
No longer a surprise. Legitimately good.
5. Brew Jays (2â2)
Competitive and improving under Nate McLain.
6. Xtreme Powerline Construction (2â2)
Still dangerous despite inconsistency.
7. Nature Boys (2â2)
The WSLâs official âcoin flipâ team.
8. Cutwater Trappers (1â1)
Capable of upsetting anybody offensively.
9. MoCushin4ThaPushin (2â2)
Still respectable despite running into the champs.
10. Misfits (0â2)
Talent says contender. Record says urgency.
11. Cleats & Cleavage (0â2)
Need offense immediately.
12. Ball Busters (0â6)
Currently in survival mode.
đŻ BIGGEST WEEK 4 QUESTIONS
đ Is anybody actually close to Booty Bandits?
Right now, the answer still feels like no.
đ Can Pony Express keep scoring at this pace?
Because if they do, the league scoring record might get broken again.
By them.
đł Are Doobies & Boobies a playoff team already?
At 3â1, this is becoming a real conversation.
đš What happens if Misfits lose again?
An 0â4 hole in a 22-game season gets dangerous FAST.
đŹ FINAL TAKE
Week 4 feels like the first âsorting weekâ of the season.
The contenders can separate themselves.
The struggling teams can stabilizeâor spiral.
And the middle of the standings is getting crowded quickly.
Also, at the current rate of offense in this league, somebody may need to check whether the softballs are secretly filled with rocket fuel.
 đ„ WSL MENâS SUMMER 2026 â WEEK 4 RECAP
By League Insider
Week 4 delivered exactly what the WSL has become known for:
Offensive explosions.
Momentum swings.
Statement wins.
And just enough chaos to remind everybody this league makes absolutely no sense sometimes.
The contenders kept swinging.
The desperate teams finally found life.
And the Nature Boys once again reminded the league that trying to predict them is basically impossible.
Meanwhile, somewhere at the top of the standings, the Booty Bandits had the week off and still probably felt like winners after watching everybody else beat each other up.
Letâs break it all down.

đ PONY EXPRESS AND NATURE BOYS SPLIT A WILD SERIES
Pony Express def. Nature Boys 15â9
Nature Boys def. Pony Express 14â10
This series was exactly what everyone expected:
Absolute offensive chaos.
Pony Express came into Week 4 looking like the hottest offense in the league, and in Game 1 they continued the trend. Coach Ponyâs squad put up another 15 runs and looked completely in control offensively for stretches of the night.
At this point, Pony Express scoring double digits feels less like a good game and more like a scheduled event.
But then the Nature Boys reminded everyone why they remain one of the leagueâs most dangerous wildcard teams.
Game 2 flipped completely.
The Johnsonsâ squad came out aggressive, matched Pony inning-for-inning early, then completely took over late in a huge 14â10 response win. It was the exact formula that makes Nature Boys so frustrating to play against:
- emotional momentum
- nonstop pressure
- and complete unpredictability
The split keeps Pony Express near the top of the standings, but it also showed something important:
Their offense can carry them against anybody.
But their pitching still leaves the door open for shootouts.
Week 4 Verdict:
Pony Express remains a title contender.
Nature Boys remain softball chaos incarnate.
âž»
đ€Â MISFITS FINALLY GET OFF THE MAT
Misfits def. Cleats & Cleavage 21â11
Misfits def. Cleats & Cleavage 10â9
The Misfits desperately needed this week.
And while it wasnât perfect, it may have saved their season from spiraling early.
Game 1 looked like the version of the Misfits everybody expected entering the year. The offense exploded for 21 runs, the energy returned, and suddenly the team that looked buried at 0â2 started resembling a contender again.
Then came Game 2.
And honestly? It nearly went sideways.
Cleats & Cleavage pushed the Misfits to the edge in a tense 10â9 battle that came down to late execution. To Cleatsâ credit, this was easily their best showing of the season and a sign theyâre beginning to settle in offensively.
But the bigger story is simple:
The Misfits avoided disaster.
At 0â4, panic wouldâve officially arrived.
Instead, they walk away with a sweep and a much-needed emotional reset.
Week 4 Verdict:
The Misfits are alive again.
Maybe not fully back yetâbut alive.
âž»
đ TEAM GARAGE RETURNS LIKE A PROBLEM
Team Garage def. The Trappers 24â9
Team Garage def. The Trappers 15â9
Well⊠Team Garage clearly did not forget how to hit during the rain delay.
After sitting idle during the schedule reshuffling, Team Garage returned and immediately reminded the league why they were viewed as championship-level dangerous entering the year.
Coach Williams lineup was relentless all night long.
Game 1 turned into a demolition job quickly, with Garage hanging 24 runs on a dangerous Trappers squad that had already proven they could score with anyone.
Game 2 was more competitive early, but once again Garageâs pressure innings completely changed the game.
Thatâs becoming their identity:
You survive for a few innings⊠and then suddenly youâre down eight.
And quietly, this team may now have the scariest offensive numbers in the league:
- 92 runs scored in just 4 games
- 23 runs per game average
That is absurd production.
Week 4 Verdict:
Team Garage is absolutely a championship threat.
âž»
đ DOOBIES & BOOBIES AND BREW JAYS TRADE HAYMAKERS
Brew Jays def. Doobies & Boobies 17â6
Doobies & Boobies def. Brew Jays 18â14
This series perfectly captured both teams.
Game 1 belonged entirely to the Brew Jays.
Coach Nate McLainâs squad looked disciplined, composed, and sharp offensively in a dominant 17â6 win that temporarily cooled off one of the leagueâs hottest expansion teams.
Then the emotional momentum completely flipped.
Doobies & Boobies answered immediately in Game 2 with another huge offensive performance, hanging 18 runs on Brew Jays and proving yet again that they are not intimidated by anybody in this league.
Coach Zach Coverdillâs group continues to impress because they donât act like an expansion team. They play fearless softball and seem completely comfortable in high-scoring games.
And right now?
That confidence is turning into wins.
Week 4 Verdict:
Both teams feel like dangerous middle-tier playoff threats.

đŹÂ FINAL TAKE
Four weeks in, and the WSL season already feels completely alive.
The top contenders are separating.
The middle of the standings is becoming a war zone.
And every week somebody seems to score enough runs to break a calculator.
At this point, pitchers across the league may collectively file a complaint with the schedule makers.
 đ„ WSL MENâS SUMMER 2026 â  WEEK 5 PREVIEW & PREDICTIONS
By League Insider
After four weeks, the WSL is beginning to separate into clear tiers.
The Booty Bandits remain undefeated and look every bit like defending champions.
Team Garage has scored runs at a historic pace and sits right on the Banditsâ heels.
Pony Express continues to terrorize scoreboards across the league.
Meanwhile, teams like the Misfits, Xtreme Powerline Construction, and MoCushin4ThaPushin are entering the portion of the schedule where every game starts feeling bigger.
Week 5 may not feature a battle between the leagueâs top two teams, but it has several matchups that could dramatically impact the middle of the standings.
đ TEAM GARAGE (4-0) vs đš MOCUSHIN4THAPUSHIN (2-2)
Storyline
Can MoCushin survive the gauntlet?
After opening 2-0, Coach Jeff McCroryâs squad ran headfirst into the defending champion Booty Bandits and got a reminder of how tough the top tier can be.
Now the challenge gets even tougher.
Team Garage enters Week 5 averaging an absurd 23 runs per game while looking like one of the most dangerous offenses in league history.
Garage has already scored 92 runs in just four games and appears to be getting stronger every week.
For MoCushin, this series is about proving they belong in the playoff conversation.
For Garage, itâs about keeping pace with the undefeated Bandits.
Key Matchup
MoCushinâs defense vs Garageâs relentless lineup.
If MoCushin can keep Garage under 15 runs, theyâll have a chance.
If not, it could be a long evening.
Prediction
Game 1: Team Garage 18, MoCushin4ThaPushin 9
Game 2: Team Garage 21, MoCushin4ThaPushin 11
Series Prediction
đ Team Garage sweeps 2-0
đ€ MISFITS (2-2) vs â« BALL BUSTERS (0-6)
Storyline
Opportunity knocks.
The Misfits spent the first part of the season looking nothing like the team many expected to contend.
Then Week 4 happened.
The sweep over Cleats & Cleavage may have completely changed the trajectory of their season.
Now comes a matchup they simply cannot afford to lose.
Meanwhile, Coach Adler Obermesik and the Ball Busters are still searching for their first win. The record is ugly, but every team eventually circles a game where they can surprise somebody.
The question is whether this can be that week.
Key Matchup
Misfits offense.
If the Misfits score early, Ball Busters could struggle to keep up.
Prediction
Game 1: Misfits 20, Ball Busters 7
Game 2: Misfits 18, Ball Busters 8
Series Prediction
đ€ Misfits sweep 2-0
đȘ€ THE TRAPPERS (1-3) vs đ BOOTY BANDITS (4-0)
Storyline
David vs Goliath.
The Trappers have shown they can score runs.
The problem is theyâre facing the most complete team in the league.
Coach Brandon Doanâs Booty Bandits have looked dominant from Opening Day and continue to carry themselves like defending champions.
Theyâre averaging 20 runs per game while allowing only 7 runs per contest.
That combination is why theyâre still undefeated.
The Trappers have enough offense to make things interesting.
But can they stop the Bandits?
Thatâs the bigger question.
Key Matchup
Trappers pitching against the Banditsâ lineup depth.
One bad inning against the Bandits usually becomes three.
Prediction
Game 1: Booty Bandits 19, Trappers 10
Game 2: Booty Bandits 17, Trappers 8
Series Prediction
đ Booty Bandits sweep 2-0
⥠XTREME POWERLINE CONSTRUCTION (2-2) vs đ CLEATS & CLEAVAGE (0-4)
Storyline
Danger game.
This matchup may not grab headlines, but it could be one of the most important series of the week.
Xtreme Powerline Construction, coached by Bobby Lane, is sitting at .500 and trying to stay within striking distance of the leagueâs upper tier.
Cleats & Cleavage remain winless, but Week 4 showed signs of life. They pushed the Misfits to the brink in a one-run game and played their most competitive softball of the season.
If Xtreme overlooks them, this could get interesting.
Key Matchup
Can Cleats finally finish a close game?
Theyâve been more competitive than their record suggests.
Prediction
Game 1: Xtreme Powerline Construction 14, Cleats & Cleavage 9
Game 2: Xtreme Powerline Construction 16, Cleats & Cleavage 10
Series Prediction
⥠Xtreme Powerline Construction sweeps 2-0
đ„ WEEK 5 BOLD PREDICTIONS
đ Team Garage scores 40+ runs in the series
Theyâve done it before, and MoCushin is facing arguably the hottest offense in the league.
đ€ Misfits move back above .500
A sweep would put them at 4-2 and right back in the playoff discussion.
đ Booty Bandits remain undefeated
Until someone proves otherwise, theyâre still the team to beat.
⥠Xtreme quietly climbs the standings
A sweep could move Bobby Laneâs squad into the upper half of the league.
đïž GAME OF THE WEEK
đ Team Garage vs đš MoCushin4ThaPushin
The standings say Booty Bandits are No. 1.
The eye test says Team Garage may be the biggest threat to them.
MoCushin now gets the opportunity to find out firsthand.
If MoCushin steals one game, it would be one of the biggest surprises of the young season.
If Garage sweeps convincingly, the conversation about a future Bandits-Garage showdown is only going to get louder.
And somewhere, Coach Brandon Doan is probably watching closely. đđ
đ„ WSL MENâS SUMMER 2026 â WEEK 5 RECAP
By League Insider
Week 5 didnât produce many surprises.
What it did produce was confirmation.
The Booty Bandits are still undefeated.
Team Garage is still right there with them.
The Misfits look like theyâre officially back in the hunt.
And Xtreme Powerline Construction quietly keeps climbing the standings while much of the league focuses on the bigger names.
Five weeks into the season, the championship picture is beginning to take shapeâand right now it looks like a collision course between two undefeated giants.
âž»
đ TEAM GARAGE CONTINUES TO ROLL
Team Garage 14, MoCushin4ThaPushin 7
Team Garage 17, MoCushin4ThaPushin 5
The final scores may not jump off the page compared to some of the offensive explosions weâve seen this season, but Team Garage once again handled business.
Coach Williams squad entered the week averaging 23 runs per game, and while the offense wasnât quite as explosive, the overall performance may have actually been more impressive.
Why?
Defense.
Garage allowed just 12 total runs across the doubleheader and never allowed MoCushin to seriously threaten either game.
For Jeff McCroryâs MoCushin4ThaPushin squad, this was another tough matchup against one of the leagueâs elite teams. They battled early but struggled to generate enough offense against a disciplined Garage defense.
The bigger takeaway is this:
Team Garage is no longer just an offensive team.
Theyâre becoming a complete team.
At 6-0 with a +67 run differential, theyâre looking every bit like a championship contender.
Week 5 Grade:

đ€Â MISFITS SEND A MESSAGE
Misfits 23, Ball Busters 3
Misfits 35, Ball Busters 4
If there was any doubt that the Misfits had recovered from their 0-2 start, Week 5 erased it.
Completely.
The Misfits scored 58 runs across two games and tied the WSL all-time record for runs scored in a game with 35.
Thatâs not a typo.
Thirty-five.
The same number Pony Express set earlier this season.
After opening the year with consecutive losses to the defending champion Booty Bandits, the Misfits have now won four straight and suddenly look much more like the team many expected before Opening Day.
Ball Busters continue searching for answers, but the story here belongs to the Misfits.
Their offense has awakened.
And thatâs bad news for the rest of the league.
Week 5 Grade:

đ BOOTY BANDITS KEEP LOOKING LIKE CHAMPS
Booty Bandits 18, The Trappers 12
Booty Bandits 25, The Trappers 12
The defending champions were tested more than the final results might suggest.
The Trappers scored 24 runs across the doubleheader and showed once again that they can swing the bats.
The problem?
Nobody seems capable of consistently slowing down the Bandits.
Coach Brandon Doanâs lineup simply keeps coming.
Top to bottom, inning after inning, the pressure never stops.
The second game perfectly captured what makes this team so dangerous.
The Trappers scored 12 runs.
And still lost by 13.
Thatâs an impossible formula for opponents.
At 6-0, the Bandits remain undefeated and continue to look like the team everyone is chasing.

âĄÂ XTREME POWERLINE CONSTRUCTION KEEPS CLIMBING
Xtreme Powerline Construction 11, Cleats & Cleavage 7
Xtreme Powerline Construction 17, Cleats & Cleavage 7
This may have been the quietest sweep of the week.
It also may have been one of the most important.
Coach Bobby Laneâs squad improved to 4-2 and continues to establish itself as a legitimate upper-tier contender.
The first game was competitive for several innings before Xtreme pulled away.
The second game showcased the offense weâve seen flashes of throughout the season.
For Cleats & Cleavage, the effort remains there, but victories remain elusive.
The encouraging sign is that theyâre scoring more consistently than they were earlier in the year.
The wins havenât arrived yet, but the competitiveness is improving.

đ CLEATS & CLEAVAGE (0-6) vs đ DOOBIES & BOOBIES (4-2)
Storyline
One team is trying to save its season.
The other is trying to prove it belongs among the contenders.
Coach Zach Coverdillâs Doobies & Boobies have been one of the best stories in the league. Few expected an expansion team to sit at 4-2 through six games, but theyâve earned every bit of that record.
Meanwhile, Cleats & Cleavage continue searching for that elusive first victory.
The frustrating part?
Theyâve been more competitive than their record suggests.
At some point, the dam has to break.
The question is whether it happens this week.
What to Watch
Doobies have shown they can score against anybody.
If Cleats can keep the games close early, pressure begins to build on the favorite.
Prediction

đ BOOTY BANDITS (6-0) vs đș BREW JAYS (3-3)
Storyline
Can Nate McLainâs rebuild pull off the biggest upset of the season?
The Brew Jays have become one of the leagueâs most respectable turnaround stories.
Coach Nate McLain has patiently built a foundation, developed a core group, and the results are beginning to show.
The problem?
This week theyâre facing the defending champs.
Coach Brandon Doanâs Booty Bandits havenât lost a game yet and continue looking every bit like a team capable of repeating.
Theyâre averaging over 20 runs per game.
Theyâre undefeated.
And they donât appear interested in slowing down.
What to Watch
Brew Jaysâ defense.
If they can limit the big innings, they can make this competitive.
If the Bandits start stacking crooked numbers, it could get ugly quickly.

Game 2:Â Booty Bandits 19, Brew Jays 11

Everything is trending upward.
Then thereâs the Nature Boys.

They split with Pony Express.
They can score in bunches.
They can upset anybody.
Nobody ever feels comfortable playing them.
What to Watch
Can Nature Boys slow down the Misfits offense?
Because right now the Misfits lineup looks like it found a cheat code.

âĄÂ XTREME POWERLINE CONSTRUCTION (4-2) vs đȘ€Â THE TRAPPERS (1-5)
Storyline
Quietly one of the most important matchups of Week 6.
Coach Bobby Laneâs squad has quietly climbed into the upper tier of the standings.
Nobody talks about them as much as the Bandits, Garage, Pony Express, or Misfits.
But at 4-2, theyâre right there.
The Trappers are better than their record indicates.
Theyâve scored 84 runs through six games, proving they can put pressure on opponents offensively.
The issue has been preventing runs.
Unfortunately for them, Xtreme has been playing some of its most complete softball lately.
What to Watch
Can the Trappers win a high-scoring game?
Because thatâs probably their best path to an upset.

đ„WSL Menâs Summer League 2026 Week 6 Recap
Upsets, Sweepers, and a Tightening Playoff Race
Six weeks into the season, one thing is crystal clear:
The Booty Bandits are still the team everyone is chasing.
But while the defending champions continue to steamroll opponents, the rest of the league has become an absolute dogfight. Week 6 delivered one of the biggest surprises of the season, a statement sweep by a team that desperately needed it, and another reminder that no team outside the Bandits can afford to take a week off.
Team of the Week
The Trappers (2-0)
Entering the week at 1-5, The Trappers looked like a team in danger of falling completely out of the playoff picture.
They responded by sweeping Xtreme Powerline Construction.
- Game 1: 18-7
- Game 2: 23-5
Not only did they win both games, they dominated them.
After being outscored 122-84 through their first six games, The Trappers suddenly look alive. Their offense exploded for 41 runs in two games, and their season outlook changed dramatically in just one night.
For a team that appeared buried a week ago, Week 6 may end up being the turning point of their season.
Series Recaps
Cleats & Cleavage sweep Doobies and Boobies
Game 1
Cleats & Cleavage 19, Doobies and Boobies 15
Game 2
Cleats & Cleavage 14, Doobies and Boobies 13
The biggest upset of the week belongs to Cleats & Cleavage.
Coming into Wednesday, they were winless and sitting near the bottom of the standings. Meanwhile, Doobies and Boobies entered the night at 4-2 and looking like one of the leagueâs surprise contenders.
Instead, Cleats & Cleavage flipped the script.
Both games were high-scoring battles, but Cleats consistently made the key plays late.
After starting the season 0-6, Cleats suddenly have two wins and a little bit of momentum.
For Doobies and Boobies, this was a missed opportunity to stay near the top of the standings.
Booty Bandits sweep Brew Jays
Game 1
Booty Bandits 29, Brew Jays 4
Game 2
Booty Bandits 24, Brew Jays 17
The defending champions continue to look every bit like the defending champions.
Game 1 wasnât competitive.
The Bandits exploded for 29 runs and reminded everyone why they own the leagueâs best record and best run differential.
Credit to Brew Jays for responding in Game 2. Coach Nate McLainâs club battled much harder and scored 17 runs, but Brandon Doanâs Bandits still found another gear when they needed it.
The Bandits have now scored:
- 18
- 25
- 23
- 17
- 29
- 24
in six of their eight wins.
Theyâre not just winning.
Theyâre overwhelming teams.
At 8-0, theyâre firmly in control of the championship race.
Nature Boys sweep Misfits
Game 1
Nature Boys 9, Misfits 7
Game 2
Nature Boys 12, Misfits 11
This was one of the most important series of the week.
The Nature Boys entered at .500 and looking to prove they belonged among the playoff contenders.
They left with two huge wins.
Both games were close, physical battles that could have gone either way.
The Johnsonsâ club made just enough plays late to complete the sweep.
For the Misfits, this continues to be one of the more surprising starts in the league.
After being viewed as a preseason contender, they now sit at 4-4 and have lost four of their last six games.
Theyâre still dangerous.
But theyâre running out of opportunities to climb back into the upper tier.
The Trappers sweep Xtreme Powerline Construction
Game 1
The Trappers 18, Xtreme Powerline Construction 7
Game 2
The Trappers 23, Xtreme Powerline Construction 5
If there was a statement series this week, this was it.
The Trappers didnât just beat Xtreme.
They dominated them.
A combined score of:
41-12
shows just how one-sided the night became.
Coach Bobby Laneâs Xtreme squad entered the week tied among the leagueâs contenders at 4-2.
They leave Week 6 sitting at .500 and searching for answers.
Meanwhile, The Trappers suddenly have life.

đ„ESPN WSL Menâs Summer League 2026 Week 7 Preview & Predictions
The calendar is turning to Week 7, and the race for first place is starting to take shape.
At the top, itâs still a two-team heavyweight battle between Brandon Doanâs Booty Bandits (8-0) and Bill Williamsâ Team Garage (6-0). Neither team has blinked yet, and both continue to stack wins while the rest of the league tries to keep pace.
Meanwhile, the middle of the standings is becoming a dogfight. From Pony Express (5-3) all the way down to The Trappers (3-5), every doubleheader feels like it could swing playoff positioning.
Letâs break down Week 7.
âž»
Series of the Night
Xtreme Powerline Construction (4-4) vs Booty Bandits (8-0)
Field 1 â 8:10 PM & 9:15 PM
Bobby Laneâs squad has quietly remained one of the leagueâs toughest outs. Xtreme has a positive run differential and has shown flashes of being able to compete with anybody.
The problem?
Theyâre facing the defending champs.
Brandon Doanâs Bandits have been a machine through six weeks. Theyâve scored 176 runs while allowing just 73. Every week somebody says, âThis could be the team that gives them trouble.â
Every week the Bandits walk away with two more wins.
Xtremeâs best chance is to turn these into low-scoring games and keep the Bandits from stringing together their big innings.
Prediction:
Game 1: Booty Bandits 18, Xtreme 10
Game 2: Booty Bandits 21, Xtreme 12
Series Prediction: Booty Bandits sweep 2-0
âž»
Team Garage vs Ball Busters
Field 2 â 6:00 PM & 7:05 PM
Bill Williams has his club playing championship softball.
Team Garage is undefeated at 6-0 and has scored 123 runs while allowing only 56. Their offense is relentless, and their defense rarely gives opponents extra opportunities.
Ball Busters are still looking for their first win under coach Adler Obermesik. They continue to battle, but theyâve faced a brutal opening schedule.
Unfortunately, it doesnât get easier this week.
Storyline:
Garage knows they cannot afford a slip-up with Booty Bandits still unbeaten. Every game matters in the race for the regular-season title.
Prediction:
Game 1: Team Garage 22, Ball Busters 6
Game 2: Team Garage 24, Ball Busters 7
Series Prediction: Team Garage sweep 2-0
âž»
Pony Express vs MoCushin4ThaPushin
Field 1 â 6:00 PM & 7:05 PM
This series has upset potential.
Coach Ponyâs team is Tied (with the Misfits) for the league record for runs in a game (35) and remains one of the most explosive offenses in the WSL. When Pony Express gets rolling, scoreboards become suggestions.
Jeff McCroryâs MoCushin squad sits at 2-4 but has played several of the leagueâs top teams already. Their record isnât pretty, but they are better than it looks.
MoCushin desperately needs a statement week to stay within striking distance of the playoff pack.
Storyline:
Can MoCushin slow down one of the leagueâs most dangerous offenses?
Prediction:
Game 1: Pony Express 17, MoCushin 11
Game 2: Pony Express 19, MoCushin 12
Series Prediction: Pony Express sweep 2-0
âž»
Brew Jays vs Cleats & Cleavage
Field 3 â 6:00 PM & 7:05 PM
This may be the sneaky-good series of the night.
Nate McLain has steadily built the Brew Jays into a competitive club. While their record sits at 3-5, theyâve shown they can hang with quality teams.
Andre Bourlierâs Cleats & Cleavage finally broke through in Week 6 with their first two victories of the season and suddenly look much more confident.
One team is trying to get back to .500.
The other is trying to prove Week 6 wasnât a fluke.
Prediction:
Game 1: Brew Jays 14, Cleats & Cleavage 10
Game 2: Brew Jays 15, Cleats & Cleavage 12
Series Prediction: Brew Jays sweep 2-0
âž»
Week 7 Bold Prediction
A team scores 30+ runs.
Pony Express, Team Garage, and Booty Bandits all have the offensive firepower to threaten that mark on any given night.
Final Word
The biggest game on the schedule isnât actually being played this week.
Itâs getting closer.
Every victory by the Bandits and every victory by Team Garage is building toward what could become the most anticipated regular-season matchup of the 2026 season. Until somebody knocks off Brandon Doanâs champs or Bill Williamsâ undefeated Garage squad, the league remains on a collision course with a first-place showdown that could determine the regular-season crown. đđ„
đ„ESPN WSL Menâs Summer League 2026 Week 7 Recap
The Giants Keep Rolling, Cleats Stuns Brew Jays, and Pony Express Finds Another Gear
Week 7 was supposed to be about teams gaining ground in the standings.
Instead, it felt like the top contenders reminding everyone exactly who runs this league.
The undefeated heavyweights kept winning, Pony Express continued its climb, and one of the biggest surprises of the night came from a Cleats & Cleavage squad that suddenly looks far more dangerous than its record suggests.

At this point, itâs impossible to ignore.

Pony Express 16, MoCushin4ThaPushin 1
Coach Ponyâs squad came into the night looking to keep pace with the league leaders.
Mission accomplished.

For Jeff McCrory and MoCushin4ThaPushin, it was another difficult night against one of the leagueâs elite offenses.

Pony Express is quietly separating itself from the pack beneath the top two teams. At 7-3, theyâre becoming the clear favorite for third place and remain capable of beating anybody when the bats get hot.

Garage has now scored 166 runs while allowing just 61 through eight games.
Meanwhile, Ball Busters continue searching for their first win under Adler Obermesik.
Takeaways:
The scary part about Team Garage is how balanced they are. They hit, they defend, and they donât beat themselves.

There are contenders.
There are playoff hopefuls.

Predicting the Final Standings, Playoff Odds, and Championship Race
Seven weeks are in the books. Ten games have been played for most teams. The weather has caused some scheduling twists, contenders have emerged, pretenders have fallen away, and now the WSL season enters the stretch run.
What makes this season fascinating is that there are really three separate races happening at once:
- The race for the Regular Season Championship.
- The race to qualify for the Upper Playoff Bracket (Top 6).
- The race to avoid finishing near the bottom of the Lower Playoff Bracket.
With 12 games remaining for most teams, hereâs how I see the rest of the season unfolding.

Championship Tier
1. Booty Bandits (Projected: 20-2)
Regular Season Championship Odds: 55%
League Championship Odds: 35%
Brandon Doanâs club has earned the benefit of the doubt.
The defending champs arenât just winning gamesâtheyâre overwhelming teams. Their +130 run differential is absurd, and theyâre averaging over 21 runs per game.
The most impressive thing?
Nobody has really pushed them yet.
The Bandits have the confidence of a champion and the depth of a champion. The CJ storyline against MoCushin has already come and gone. The defending champs never blinked.
The biggest challenge ahead remains Team Garage.
ESPN Take:
The Bandits are still the team everyone is chasing.
âž»
2. Team Garage (Projected: 18-4)
Regular Season Championship Odds: 40%
League Championship Odds: 30%
Bill Williams deserves more attention than heâs getting.
The Garage sits at 8-0 and owns a +105 run differential.
They donât have the same spotlight as the Bandits because they didnât win the title last year.
But they might be the only team capable of knocking them off.
ESPN Take:
If the Bandits are the heavyweight champion, Team Garage is the undefeated challenger waiting for the title shot.
âž»
Dark Horse Contenders
3. Pony Express (Projected: 15-7)
League Championship Odds: 12%
Coach Ponyâs team has already shown its ceiling.
They hold the WSL single-game scoring record (35 runs) and have enough offensive firepower to beat anyone.
The problem?
Consistency.
The gap between Pony Express and the top two remains noticeable.
ESPN Take:
Nobody wants to see Pony Express in a playoff elimination game.
âž»
4. Nature Boys (Projected: 14-8)
League Championship Odds: 8%
The Johnsons have authored one of the leagueâs best stories.
Last year they were giant killers.
This year theyâre contenders.
Their sweep of Misfits and split with Pony Express proved they belong.
ESPN Take:
Biggest surprise of 2026 so far.
âž»
Upper Playoff Bubble
5. Misfits (Projected: 13-9)
Upper Bracket Odds: 90%
This remains the hardest team in the league to predict.
Nate Woolleyâs squad has looked terrible at times.
Theyâve also looked terrifying at times.
The talent is obvious.
Consistency isnât.
ESPN Take:
The most dangerous fifth-place team imaginable.
âž»
6. Doobies and Boobies (Projected: 12-10)
Upper Bracket Odds: 65%
Expansion teams arenât supposed to do this.
Coach Zach Coverdill has built a competitive roster immediately.
Theyâre currently holding the final Upper Bracket position and have enough offense to stay there.
ESPN Take:
One of the seasonâs biggest success stories.
âž»
Just Missing the Cut
7. Brew Jays (Projected: 11-11)
Upper Bracket Odds: 45%
Nate McLain has slowly built this program into a respectable club.
The problem is the leagueâs middle tier is absolutely loaded.
A split here or there could determine everything.
ESPN Take:
Most likely team to steal the sixth seed from Doobies and Boobies.
âž»
8. Xtreme Powerline Construction (Projected: 10-12)
Upper Bracket Odds: 35%
Bobby Laneâs squad has been competitive but hasnât yet broken through against the leagueâs elite.
Theyâre still close enough to make a run.
ESPN Take:
Dangerous, but running out of room for mistakes.
âž»
Lower Bracket Favorites
9. The Trappers (Projected: 9-13)
Upper Bracket Odds: 15%
Mason Hudsonâs team has shown flashes.
Sweeping Xtreme was proof.
The issue is consistency.
ESPN Take:
Capable of pulling upsets, but likely headed for the Lower Bracket.
âž»
10. MoCushin4ThaPushin (Projected: 7-15)
Upper Bracket Odds: 5%
Jeff McCroryâs club has fought a brutal schedule.
They need a strong second half immediately.
ESPN Take:
Not dead yet, but time is becoming their biggest opponent.
âž»
Fighting for Momentum
11. Cleats & Cleavage (Projected: 6-16)
Upper Bracket Odds: 2%
Andre Bourlierâs team finally showed life recently.
The problem is theyâve dug a deep hole.
ESPN Take:
Better than their record suggests.
âž»
12. Ball Busters (Projected: 2-20)
Upper Bracket Odds: <1%
Adler Obermesikâs group keeps competing.
The goal now becomes building momentum and finding breakthrough victories before playoff time.

Predicted Championship Matchup
đ„ Booty Bandits vs Team Garage
Itâs impossible to ignore.
One is the defending champion.
One is the undefeated challenger.
One is coached by Brandon Doan.
One is coached by Bill Williams.
Every week feels like itâs pushing the league closer to an inevitable showdown.
Championship Odds
Booty Bandits - 35%
Team Garage - 30%
Pony Express - 12%
Nature Boys - 8%
Doobies and Boobies - 4%
Brew Jays - 2%
Xtreme Powerline Construction - 1%
The Trappers - 1%
Everyone else - <1%
Final Word
If the playoffs started today, the Booty Bandits would be favorites.
But hereâs the warning sign for the rest of the league:
Team Garage hasnât lost either.
The regular season is beginning to feel like a two-horse race, but championships are rarely that simple. Pony Express can score 30 on anyone. Misfits have too much talent to ignore. Nature Boys have already exceeded expectations. Doobies and Boobies continue to surprise people every week.
The next month will decide whether this season becomes a coronation for the Bandits, a breakthrough for Team Garage, or the setup for another one of those classic WSL playoff upsets that everyone is still talking about years later. đ„đđ„
