About 2022 SFRPD Junior Giants

SFRPD Mission: The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department’s Mission is to provide enriching recreational activities, maintain beautiful parks and preserve the environment for the well-being of everyone in our diverse community.

League Info: Entering its 28th year, Junior Giants is a free, noncompetitive and coed baseball and softball program. Over 24,000 youth across California, Nevada and Oregon participate annually. The program offers equipment, uniforms, program incentives and coaches training.

For the SFRPD Junior Giants Program, hour-long practices will be held on weekday evenings at fields throughout the city beginning the week of June 13th. The actual names of the teams include the location, date, and start time of the practices. ALL games will be held at Crocker-Amazon on Saturdays, beginning June 18th.

Diamond 1: Large fenced-in field, next to clubhouse.
Diamond 2: Large fenced-in field, directly across from center field of #1.
Diamond 3: Dirt field closest to the parking lot entrance off of Moscow Street.
Diamond 4: Walking along the path from the clubhouse passed the t-ball diamonds; on the left hand side, across from the soccer fields.
Diamond 5: Beyond the right field fence of #1.
Diamonds 6, 7, 8: Beyond the left field fence of Field #1. Orange and black backstops with numbers "6,7, & 8" in the netting.
