FC LAS CHAFIRAS WALKING FOOTBAL TENERIFE.
Originally formed in the UK in 2010 and aimed at men over the age of 50, walking football has grown to involve over 60s and over 70s for men, and for women over the age of 40. Since its conception Walking Football has gone from strength to strength bringing with it many positives for its members, both mental and physical health and the chance to catch up with others who share their passion for the game.
FC LAS CHAFIRAS WALKING FOOTTBALL CLUB
The club started in January 2017. With 5 players turning up to our first game. These 5 have gone on to be known as The Acorns. Hence our motto " From a little Acorn a mighty Oak has risen. "
We always strive to make everything as inclusive as possible for everyone, not just players.
Twice a year we run our very successful Charity evenings at The Waterfall. Over the years we have been able to
raise funds for various Charities including FACT. Gillian Banks & No One Without Food Tenerife.
This year we are excited to be holding The 2nd Canaries Walking Football tournament 2024 in November.
