The Waterloo Adult Hockey Association (WAHA) is an amateur adult ice hockey club in Waterloo, Iowa.

​Games are played at Young Arena.

Our mission is to provide organized ice hockey games for adults in Eastern Iowa.

We promote a fun and fair league of no-check hockey.

Goalies are free!
Sign up for your preferred level. WAHA will create rosters for each week and reserves the right to shift levels to balance teams.

Equipment required: Helmet, gloves, shin pads, elbow pads, stick - bring a dark and light jersey.

Try Hockey

2024 Try Hockey

What/Who:
• Try ice hockey event at Young Arena on Saturday morning
• November 2nd from 9-10:30 am
• For adults (18+) interested in trying ice hockey for free

Details:
• Wear loose fitting athletic clothing – pants and long sleeves
• Arrive at 8:30 am to sign in and get equipment/skates fitted
o Free skate rental from Young Arena
o You can also wear your own equipment/skates

What to Expect:
• Drill stations – skating, passing, puck handling, shooting
• Scrimmage
• Coaching

Limited Equipment Provided:
• Helmet
• Shin pads
• Elbow pads
• Composite or wood stick
• Gloves
