About Papamoa FC

Papamoa Football Club started in 1995, and became an Incorporated Society in 1997. The clubs primary focus is to foster, encourage, and promote football activities within the Papamoa region.

The club has grown strongly over the past 25 years, along with the population of Papamoa. In 2024 Papamoa FC had 864 registered members, not withstanding co creating the entity FC Tauranga Moana, which has another 200 members. A total of 80 teams and 1050 members utilise Gordon Spratt Reserve in season 2024

Papamoa Football Club is one of the fastest growing in New Zealand, and the largest code by number of members based at Gordon Spratt Reserve.

Over recent years and with the substantial growth the club has become successful across several grades.

King's Birthday Tournament 2025

Papamoa Football Club is delighted to confirm that our annual boys' and girls' tournaments will be back for 2025

Our King's Birthday Tournament will be taking place on Sunday, 1st June 2025 at Gordon Spratt Reserve, the home of Papamoa Football Club.

The Kings Birthday Tournament division breakdown are as follows:

Boys Division - 10th Grade
Boys Division - 12th Grade
Girls Division - 9th/10th Grade
Girls Division - 13th/14th Grade

$325.00 per team

Important Notes:
Each age band will have a team limit for registrations. 24 teams for boys division and 12 teams for the girls division. According to the team registrations per division, we are hoping to confirm a minimum of 5 group games before we move to the knockout stage of the tournament. A reminder that this will depend on the team entries per division.

Games will be 20 minutes with 2 halves of 10 minutes with no halftime, teams are to change sides and the next half is is to start straight away.

The tournament will be completed on the 1st June 2025 with prize giving taking place after the finals have taken place for each division.

A more in detail list of rules and regulations will be sent to the coaches listed on the registration details filled by teams along with a tournament pack regarding a map of the location and any further information linked to the King's Birthday Tournament 2025.

Withdrawal policy

Teams who withdraw more than 4 weeks out will receive a full refund less a $25 admin fee.
Teams who withdraw 3 weeks out will receive a refund less a $100 admin fee.
Teams who withdraw 2 weeks out will receive a refund less a $200 admin fee.
Teams with withdraw 1 week out will receive no refund.

Only full team payment will qualify your teams entry into the league.
