Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church, in partnership with HIES basketball programs, is excited to sponsor the Holy Innocents’ Youth Basketball league. Our mission allows us to bridge ministry and sports to develop the minds, bodies, and spirits of children so that they may serve their families and community in God’s name. This inclusive program for children of all skill levels includes quality basketball instruction designed to improve skills in shooting, defense, passing, ball-handling, and footwork. Equally important, our program strives to nurture sportsmanship, self-confidence, and friendship with an
emphasis on fun and enjoyment.

We expect to fill the following divisions (subject to change based on the number of registrants):

●1st, 2nd & 3rd Grade Girls
● 1st, 2nd & 3rd Grade Boys
● 4th & 5th Grade Girls (and 6th with approval)
● 4th & 5th Grade Boys (and 6th with approval)

Each team will practice once (1 hour) per week and play one (40-minute) game per week. All practices and games will conveniently be held at Holy Innocents Duncan Gymnasium, adjacent to HIEC. Practices will be Monday through Thursday between 6:30p -7:30p or 7:30p - 8:30p (with 4th and 5th graders in the later spot). Games will be on Saturdays between 9 am and 2 pm.
