Halloween Pickleball Tourney at Mpls Cider Company 2021

Halloween Pickleball Tournament at Minneapolis Cider Company is another fun pickleball event organized by Village Pickleball.! There will be prizes for best costume, funniest/spookiest team name, and funnest team to play in addition to division winner prizes. Each team member will receive a free cider token, and the bar will remain open and of course Breizh Crêperie will have their amazing menu available. This is an open tournament meaning your team can be comprised of 2 women, 2 men, or one of each. There will be a limit of 16 teams in each of 3 divisions: Social, 3.5 Competitive, and 4.0 Competitive. This invite is going out to Cider league players first so use that as your guide. Division play will bounce between the 2 Front Courts, and 2 brand new Back Courts, with the finals being played on the Back Courts. be 8 courts in play, and 2 courts exclusively for warm-ups.

11:00 -> ~2:00 - Open - Social division (FULL as of Oct 9)
~2:30 -> ~5:00 - Open -3.5 Competitive division (FULL as of Oct 16)
~4:30 -> ~8:00 - Open - 4.0 Competitive division (space remains for 3 teams as of Oct 17)

A minimum of 8 teams is required in a division for the division to be included in the tournament.

$35 per team includes two drink tokens at the bar. Each team is guaranteed 3 games. Teams will be assigned randomly to a bracket. There is no round robin play; triple elimination bracket play only. Games will be first to 15 with normal scoring.

Get your friends together and reserve your space now as each division has a capped number of 16 teams and registration closes Friday October 22nd at 11:59pm. We assume the divisions will fill up before this date!
