General Rules for all Age Divisions
*Each Team to Provide a Minimum of 2 Baseballs/Softballs for each Game*

Flip for home team though out pool play, High seed is home in bracket.

5 Minute rule does not apply once we enter Bracket Play.
The Home Book will be Official Book concerning the batting lineup for each game. This is Regardless of the situation, it is the visiting teams responsibility to ensure that they have the correct line up for each game by conferring with the home book prior to the start of the game. Any discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the umpires before the game begins, once game begins Home Book is official regarding lineups. Home Book will also be the official book in regards to recording runs and outs. The visitor book should check with the home book at the end of each half inning to ensure there are no discrepancies in score. Any differences that can’t not be determined will revert back to what home book has recorded. Players allowed to play if rostered with the team as sent in to Tournament Director. Roster must be in Friday night or before first scheduled game this must be sent to Email D3Tournaments@yahoo.com
All Boys divisions refer back to the Federation Rule Set for Game play. Boys will follow NCS Age Requirements
All girls divisions refer back to USA Softball Rule Set. Girls will Follow USA Softball Age Requirements
Bats for all boys divisions 6u-12u are of any length(34) or diameter, must be a baseball bat stamped either USSSA 1.15, BBCOR,USA Baseball or be a Wood bat in all below boy divisions.
14u Boys Can use Bats of the following types: Drop 5 or less and USSSA 1.15, USA Baseball, BBCOR or a wood bat are legal.
Bats for girls divisions must be approved USA Softball bats, 6u Girls Tball can use bats stamped T-Ball or TB in model number. No Slashing allowed in age groups 9u-14u Baseball and (15u)Softball, Contact is not required. Head Coach will be ejected from game, Penalty: DeadBall Batter is out all runners return to bag at time of pitch, Head Coach is Ejected for remainder of the game.
Baseball Pitching Rules-Illegal Pitchers will Result in a forfeit of the game.
8u-14u Baseball-Innings and outs are the same thing, 3 outs constitutes an inning of pitching. 15u/16u is only recommended not to exceed 110 pitches per day, but less should be used depending on pitchers condition.
Tie breakers after either end of time limit(finish inning) or end of regulation innings whichever comes first. Bases loaded 1 out each inning, base runners are put in reverse order from the last batter from previous inning on first, then 2nd, then 3rd in reverse order. Example previous inning 3rd batter in order was last batted. 4th batter batting 3rd in order on first, 2nd in order on 2nd and 1st in order on 3rd. We will continue the tie breaker format each inning until
we have a winner, finish the inning. 5 minute rule means will not start an inning with less than 5 minutes remaining. 5 minute rule for all pool play games no 5 minute rule in bracket play. All time limits will be finish the inning.
Cont…….8u Kid Pitch Only-BASE RUNNERS
All base runners must remain in contact with the base, while the pitcher is in contact with the pitching rubber and the catcher is in the catcher's box ready to receive delivery of the pitch, until the ball reaches the batter.
1) If runner/s leave the base before the ball reaches the batter and ball is not hit fair, the runner/s will be returned to the base occupied before the pitch was made, unless the runner is put out by the defensive team. The ball becomes dead. No runners may score nor runners advance.
If the baserunner leaves the base before the pitched ball reaches the batter and the ball is hit fairly, the base runner leaving the base before the pitched ball reaches the batter, shall be declared out, the ball is live and in play, unless with 2 outs, where the base runner leaving early becomes the 3rd out, the inning will be complete and no runners may score.

8u Boys-Kid Pitch
Federation Rules
Game play and Field layout-38’ pitching, 60” bases, closed bases runners may leave base to steal once ball reaches plate, drop 3rd strike not in effect in 8u kid pitch only. Leaving early when ball is put in play will result in the runner declared out and a live ball play continues.
Time called end of each play by defense stopping lead runner, no stealing allowed runner may only advance when batter puts ball in play.
1:10 minute time limit finish the inning. 5 minute rule(wot start new inning with 5 mins or less) in pool play games.

Pitching Recommended no greater than 110 Pitches for day following UIL guidelines. Pitches will not be kept it will all be coaches and parents discretion. Ensure pitchers are managed correctly with safety in mind.

General Rules and Information
- No Grills of any type allowed.
- Smoking/Vaping only in designated areas.
- No alcohol allowed
- No unsupervised animals or not on leashes.
- A Team Coolers are allowed.
- Gate Fee is $6 for Adults, All Children are free.
- Coaches-3 Coaches Allowed in at no Charge.
- Ensure that you are courteous in parking.
- Coaches please ensure that your fans use sportsmanship in all aspects, you are responsible for keeping your fans under control
- Any ejections of players, coaches, fans, etc are final. Your conduct during and after will determine if you are able to return to continue to participate the remainder of the day. Please exercise good judgement and respect for the individual while participating in D3T Events.
- Walk up music is allowed as so it does not interfere with game play and is appropriate, umpires have final say on issues regarding walk up music.
